Sea & Discover offers unique classes and discovery activities for children and adults, snorkelers and divers. If you're interested in learning more about the marine environment, whether you're a beginner or you've been in the water for years, Sea & Discover offers a variety of innovative and exclusive learning programs.

The Sea & Discover experience

Our ½ day programs combine a classroom session with an hour-long dive or snorkel. In the classroom, you'll learn about your chosen topic through slides, CDroms, books and discussion. Then we go for a shore dive or snorkel, where you'll experience first hand what you learned about in class. You'll discover things about the reef that you never imagined. Plus, the things you learn with Sea & Discover will keep coming back and enlightening your future dives and snorkels.

The classroom portion will be held at Sea & Discover, while the water activities will take place at your preferred reef. Transportation is via van, although boat access may be arranged.

To maximize fun and learning and to minimize confusion and fins in the face, our marine biologist takes no more than three divers, four adult snorkelers, or eight children with her in the water. This makes Sea & Discover's programs unique and ensures a more enjoyable learning experience. It also allows for a program tailored to your individual interests.

Sea & Discover also offers the PADI Fish ID specialty course in collaboration with Yellow Submarine.

Caren Eckrich has a Master's
            degree in Marine Biology, is a PADI dive instructor and has studied,
            researched, and taught in the Caribbean for ten years.
